Job Position: Sales Coordinator / Analyst

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

  • The Sales Coordinator supports the automobile sales team by managing sales operations, ERP transactions, vehicle documentation, reporting, and performance analysis.
  • The role ensures seamless coordination between field sales agents, inventory, logistics, and finance, allowing the sales team to focus on customer acquisition and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Operations & Coordination:

  • Coordinate daily sales activities between field agents, showroom teams, and management.
  • Track vehicle availability, stock movements, and allocations.
  • Monitor order lifecycle from booking to delivery.
  • Liaise with logistics, warehouse, and finance for smooth transaction processing.
  • Follow up on pending deals, approvals, and customer requests.

ERP / System & Transaction Management:

  • Maintain accurate updates of vehicle sales in the ERP system (e.g., D365 / SAP).
  • Process vehicle bookings, invoices, delivery notes, and customer records.
  • Track payments, outstanding balances, and credit approvals.
  • Ensure data accuracy for chassis numbers, engine numbers, and vehicle details.
  • Generate ERP-based operational and financial reports.

Vehicle Documentation & Compliance:

  • Coordinate documentation for vehicle sales (invoice, delivery note, registration documents, etc.).
  • Ensure proper recordkeeping of customer and vehicle files.
  • Support compliance requirements (licensing, registration, insurance coordination).
  • Maintain accurate documentation for audit and regulatory purposes.

Sales Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare daily / weekly / monthly sales performance reports.
  • Track KPIs such as revenue, units sold, margins, and target achievement.
  • Analyze sales trends by model, brand, region, or sales agent.
  • Monitor conversion rates and pipeline performance.
  • Provide actionable insights to sales management.

Performance & Target Monitoring:

  • Track sales targets vs. actual performance.
  • Monitor individual and team KPIs.
  • Assist with incentive calculations and commission tracking.
  • Flag performance gaps or inconsistencies.

Customer & Internal Support:

  • Assist with customer inquiries related to orders and deliveries.
  • Support sales agents with pricing, stock checks, and documentation.
  • Ensure timely communication between departments.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Accuracy of ERP sales & vehicle records
  • Timeliness of invoicing & booking entries
  • Sales reporting turnaround time
  • Vehicle documentation accuracy
  • Stock visibility & coordination efficiency
  • Order processing cycle time.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum Qualification: HND / BSc in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Logistics, or related field
  • Experience: 2–4 years in Sales Coordination / MIS / Sales Operations (automobile industry preferred)
  • ERP proficiency (D365 / SAP / Auto-line, etc.)
  • Strong Excel & reporting skills
  • Understanding of vehicle sales processes.
